Program Overview

• 2x per week (20 sessions - 15 practices +  5 games)  
• Seattle weekend trip June 8-10 - 2 or 3 games vs Seattle Academies plus Sunday afternoon for a Vancouver Whitecaps vs Houston game in Vancouver at 4pm.
• 5 exhibition games versus local competition and other cities
• Tuesdays between 5:45 and 8:45 pm and Sundays between 9:30-3pm at Lochside turf (unless posted otherwise)
• World Cup style tournament and barbecue celebration at the end of June
• All teams coached by Academy Directors Brett Hyslop and Steph Steiner with support from World Cup staff
• Professional Goalkeeper training will be provided.

Program Focus:

• Introduce the players to the training methods of Barcelona 
• Teach all players the 4-3-3 system and its variations
• Provide competition opportunities 
• Develop an attacking possession style game

On the weekends these teams will either:

• Train between 9:30am and 3pm at  Lockside Park Turf  on Sundays or
• Play a game Saturday between11am and 2pm (Finlayson) or Sunday afternoon (Lochside) depending on schedules which will be posted on our bulletin board on this website.

Fees:

• $495 includes Jersey, training T-shirt, shorts, socks
• $40 World Cup umbro jacket (  optional )
• All costs associated with travel are extra
• Whitecap ticket cost to be determined

2007 u12 boys lost 2-1 to Emerald City at Qwest stadium in Seattle before the Seattle Sounders game vs MLS Chivas USA. The boys were able to interact with the Seattle Sounder players and were even involved in the pregame festivities and national anthem infront of thousands of fans.
