Super “8” Teams 2012

Saturday, April 14 - Saturday, June 30

 
Program Overview:

• 2x per week (15 practices +  5 games)  
• Games versus local academies and other city teams
• Day tournament in Vancouver
• U9 boys and U10/11 girls train Saturday 4-5 pm and Wednesday 6-7 pm at Finlayson Turf.
• U10/11 boys train Saturdays 5-6pm and Wednesday 7-8pm at Finlayson Turf.
• World Cup style tournament and BBQ celebration at the end of June
• All teams coached by Academy Directors Brett Hyslop and Steph Steiner with support from World Cup staff

Program Focus:

• Introduce the players to the training methods as Barcelona
• Teach all players the 3-1-3 system and its variations
• Provide competition opportunities 
• Develop an attacking possesion style game

Fees:

• $375 includes jersey, training t-shirt, shorts and socks
• $40 (optional jacket)
• All costs associated with travel are extra
